The Zadock Woods Family Reunion on Sunday, October 11, 2026, went very well, bringing together around 60 family members and friends for a warm day of fellowship, shared memories, and celebration of our heritage.

A Day of Connection

The Bar-B-Q lunch was enjoyed from noon to 1:00 PM, giving everyone time to visit, reconnect across generations, and share in the spirit of family.

A Special Presentation

At 1:00 PM, Dr. Donald S. Frazier delivered a presentation that made the gathering especially meaningful. An award-winning historian and author, Dr. Frazier serves as Director of The Texas Center at Schreiner University. He is a Fellow of the Texas State Historical Association, a member of the Philosophical Society of Texas, a recipient of the DAR Gold Medal for Historic Preservation, and a 2021 appointee to the Texas 1836 Commission by Governor Greg Abbott.

His insight into early Texas history, pioneer heritage, Zadock Woods, and the lives of his descendants offered a memorable perspective on the legacy our family continues to preserve. We are grateful to Dr. Frazier and to everyone who attended, contributed, and helped make this reunion such a joyful occasion.

Thank you for helping keep the Zadock Woods family story alive for generations to come.
